Brain Tumor Center

The Brain Tumor Center of United Hospital is one of the busiest and most comprehensive centers in the Midwest. The Center provides state-of-the-art diagnostic capabilities and cutting-edge therapeutic interventions for patients with tumors involving the nervous system.

The Center is comprised of a multidisciplinary team, including:

• neurosurgeons from United Neurosurgery Associates
• medical and radiation oncologists from Minnesota Hematology Oncology, PA
• neuroradiologists from St. Paul Radiology.

The Brain Tumor Center is actively involved in multicenter clinical trials, allowing patients access to innovative treatment protocols.

New and ongoing patients are discussed bi-weekly at the multidisciplinary brain tumor conference. The clinical discussions and customized treatment recommendations are then promptly relayed to referring physicians.

Personalized support services help patients and their families navigate the care process throughout diagnosis and treatment. Prior to discharge, the Sister KennyŽ Rehabilitation Institute provides inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation care.
