Master Plan
The mission of the Owatonna Hospital is to serve our communities by providing exceptional care, as we prevent illness, restore health and provide comfort to all who entrust us with their care. In keeping with that mission and to meet the health care needs of Owatonna's growing and aging population, we have embarked on replacing the existing facility with a safe, responsive, convenient, patient-centered healthcare campus.
The master plan for this healthcare campus will transform the northwestern edge of Owatonna and allow the hospital, in partnership with the Owatonna Clinic-Mayo Health System, to continue developing a responsive health care environment that meets the changing functional, technological and efficiency demands of the future.
This new facility will allow the hospital and clinic to continue to offer high-quality, responsive, safe patient care. Consolidation of clinical services, such as imaging, will foster better collaboration between the hospital and clinic, enabling earlier adoption of enhanced technologies and convenient, efficient and integrated care for our patients.
