Mind your health: United Hospital holds national depression screening on October 11
St. Paul, Minn. 10/03/2007--If you are worried about yourself or someone you love and don't know what to do, attend United Hospital's National Depression Screening Day. As part of the program, participants will have the opportunity to complete a brief, written questionnaire, learn the warning signs of depression and suicide and learn how to help a friend or family member who may be at risk. Participants will also have the option of talking to a health care professional about any concerns they may have.
Where: United Hospital, Bentson Conference Room, 333 North Smith Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55102
When: Monday, October 11, 2007, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

About National Depression Screening Day
National Depression Screening Day is a program of the nonprofit organization, Screening for Mental Health, Inc. The program provides a nonthreatening way for the public to be screened for depression and related illnesses, such as bipolar disorder, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder.
