Located inside the Mall of America is the largest indoor family theme park in the nation. Other shopping destinations include Grand Avenue in St. Paul, and numerous shopping malls in surrounding communities.
Outdoors: Minnesota boasts 66 state parks, 6 recreation areas, 58 forests, 1 state trail, and more than 69,000 miles of rivers and streams. Minnesota is home to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area, Voyager National Park and two national forests. Popular destinations include Duluth and the North Shore, Brainerd Lakes area, Rochester and Red Wing.
